Are my chats private?
Yes. Your chats are private to your account and are not visible to other users. We store data using the standard protections provided by our infrastructure providers, but we do not add a separate end-to-end or application-layer encryption system on top.
Are uploads and generated media encrypted?
Uploads and generated media are kept private and stored using the default protections provided by our storage infrastructure. We do not add a separate custom encryption layer beyond that, and access is restricted through authenticated routes tied to your account.
